HICKORY, N.C. –  Freshman RB Dwayne McGee went off for 188 yards rushing and three touchdowns, the final coming with 1:11 left in the game, as Lenoir-Rhyne hung on to defeat Tusculum 38-31 on Saturday afternoon. In the victory, kicker Chase Allbaugh set the NCAA Division II record for most consecutive extra points made with 128 after LRs second touchdown of the day.

BANNER ELK, N.C. – Olivia NeyNatasha Colon Moreno, and Hailey Gilreath combined for 32 kills, while Carlee Allbaugh posted her 12th double-double in 15 matches, to lead the Lees-McRae women's volleyball team to the three-set sweep of visiting Chowan to move to 4-1 on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.   

The Equip 8U baseball team went 1-1 at the Top Gun Tournament Friday night. They lost to East Rowan in the opening game, 11-3; but they rallied from a 5-0 first inning deficit, and defeated Mooresville, 14-5.

FLORENCE, S.C. – Taylor Barrineau and Ivy Cagno each scored their second goals on the season, while Mallory Roughton made four saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season, to lead the Lees-McRae women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over host Francis Marion as the Bobcats clinched their first five-game winning streak since 2013 and matched the program's best start to a season since 2011.
