Abbott breaks school record as Women’s Swimming defeats rival King in first-ever home meet

BOONE, N.C. – Tate Abbott broke the program record in the 200 free, by swimming the first leg of the 800-free relay, and posted a time in the 50 free which currently ranks seventh in the NCAA Division II, while Anastasia Johnson and Lucia Ruchti were also double-winners, to lead the Lees-McRae women's swimming team to a 148-57 win over "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup" and Conference Carolinas rival King in the program's first-ever home meet.

FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion used a goal off a penalty kick in the 64th minute to escape with a 1-0 win over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas contest this afternoon in Florence, South Carolina.
