LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Appalachian State men's basketball forced Little Rock into 21 turnovers en route to a 77-73 road victory on Saturday afternoon. Saturday's win also broke App State's seven-game losing streak.

BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's basketball (10-8, 4-3 SBC) fell to a hot-shooting Little Rock (11-8, 7-1 SBC) team, 74-59, on Saturday afternoon inside the Holmes Center.

Bobcats Roll To fourth straight win, 100-66

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's basketball team rolled to a 100-66 victory on the road at North Greenville Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action. The victory, which is the team's fourth straight, improves Lees-McRae's record on the season to 9-13 overall and 6-7 in league play.

Daniel Waln has been named the Associate Head Coach in his first season at west Virginia Wesleyan (a Division II school in Buckhannon, W.V., and a member of the Mountain East Conference). Waln comes to West Virginia Wesleyan after serving as an Assistant at Coastal Carolina University under Legendary Head Coach Cliff Ellis. In the NCAA D1 Sun Belt conference, Waln helped groom All League Point Guard Jaylen Shaw who averaged 15 PPG for the Chanticleers while helping CCU earn wins over Iona, Texas Arlington and South Alabama. Before Coastal, Waln was very instrumental in helping lead Lees-McRae College, another NCAA D2 school to the most wins in school history. Over the course of his young coaching career, Waln has recruited and signed 2 All Americans, 6 All Conference selections and 2 Player of the years & 2 freshman of the years.
