No. 7 Carolina Drops Series Opener To No. 2 Miami....CORAL GABLES, Fla. --- Zack Collins' two-run double broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth and No. 2 Miami opened a top-10 series with a 10-4 win over No. 7 North Carolina Friday night at Mark Light Field. Brandon Riley's RBI double in the first put the Tar Heels on top against UM's Thomas Woodrey, but the Hurricane lefty was masterful over seven innings to get the win.

BOONE - Watauga High softball coach Brad Isaacs has announced that's friday's scheduled game between the Pioneers and West Wilkes has been rained out. No make up date has been announced.
