MORAVIAN FALLS - As the old saying goes, winning is contagious. And the Watauga High baseball team, which has won all of 14 games the last two years, looks to be righiing the ship---at least for the moment.

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Kyle Guy, Devon Hall and No. 1 Virginia completed one of the most successful seasons in the storied history of Atlantic Coast Conference basketball, beating No. 12 North Carolina 71-63 in the tournament championship game Saturday night to finish 20-1 against league competition.

HARROGATE, Tenn.  – Seventh-ranked Queens University of Charlotte, seeded second in the NCAA DII Men's Basketball Southeast Regional, defeated seventh-seeded Lees-McRae, 90-69, this afternoon to advance to round two of the Championships for the third straight year. The Royals move on to the semifinal round of the Southeast Regionals with a 29-3 record while the Bobcats bow out of tournament play at 23-9.
