College football's only playoff national championship game to be played in Frisco, Texas or 'Nooga.

A national pizza franchise has joined forces with representatives of the Southland Conference in an attempt to recruit the title game to the Lone Star State from 2010 through 2012.

The Southland bid committee has a planned February 25 meeting with the NCAA to present their proposal. The NCAA has stated that a decision will be made no later than the first week of March.

Frisco and Chattanooga, Tenn., are the only finalists. Chattanooga has hosted the championship game the past 13 years, in which our Appalachian State Mountaineers won three straight times from 2005-2007.

The 2010-2011 title game will mark the first time that the FCS Championship game will be played in January.
