High Country Radio’s sports director, Mike Kelly, said Watauga High’s former soccer coach, Doug Kidd, will be featured on AM 1450 WATA tomorrow morning.

Kelly said Kidd will probably be interviewed around 11:35 a.m.

Kidd served as the Pioneer boys’ soccer coach for 16 years and coached the girls’ team since its inception in 1994.  He is currently the head soccer coach at Swansboro High School and has led the Pirates to the state 2-A finals, which will be played Saturday.
