NASHVILLE, TN - Darrynton Evans of Appalachian State is patiently waiting for his chance to play in the NFL. But Evans has been frustrated by injuries.

Scheduled to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, Evans, who was selected in the third round of last springs NFL Draft, has missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury.  But the backup running back, who was a full participant in practice to begin the week, was limited Thursday and has now been ruled out for game-time action entirely, so he may have suffered an injury setback.

Jeremy McNichols will continue to handle No. 2 duties behind Derrick Henry as long as Evans remains sidelined. The Titans (2-0) begin the week in first place in the AFC South.
