MOUNTAIN CITY, TN - The Watauga High freshmen basketball team suffered its third loss of the season on Saturday in a 73-50 against Johnson County, TN.

Carter Everett led the Pioneers (4-3) with 17 points in the setback. Patrick McKethan followed with eight points. Josiah Romanus had six, Joe Penley and Brooks Howser each had five points. Gresham Collins had four and Carson Warren had two.

The WHS freshman play Johnson County in a rematch on Thursday night at Lentz-Eggers Gym.
