For the second straight day, the Hickory Crawdads game in Hagerstown against the Suns has been postponed due to rain. The back-to-back rainouts will force the two teams to play a pair of
doubleheaders, one in Hagerstown and the other in Hickory.
Thursday's twin bill from Hagerstown will start at 4:35 pm, with the second game beginning no sooner than 7:05 pm. The second doubleheader in Hickory on May 8th will begin at 4:00 pm, with the nightcap starting no earlier than 7:00 pm.
One ticket will get fans in to see both games at L.P. Frans Stadium.
The Crawdads are on the road for five more days, playing six total games against the Suns and Kannapolis Intimidators. The 'Dads will return home for the start of a 7-game home stand on Wednesday, May 7th.

Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend: The Crawdads will host their annual Breast Cancer Awareness weekend May 9 through May 11, presented by Kicks 103.3 FM. Friday (5/9) will have "Paint the Park Pink", with fans able to get a $5 ticket by wearing pink to the game. Saturday (5/10) will see the first 1,000 fans with paid admittance take home a pink, replica Crawdads jersey courtesy of Pepsi. Sunday (5/11) will wrap up the festivities with a live, silent auction of the 'Dads game-worn, pink uniforms! TICKETS

'Dads Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend
The Hickory Crawdads have announced the details for their annual Breast Cancer Awareness weekend, which is scheduled for Friday, May 9th - Sunday, May 11th.
The 3-day promotion, presented by KICKS 103.3, will focus on the color pink with the team hoping to raise both awareness and financial support in the battle against breast cancer. The festivities begin on Friday, with the Crawdads looking to "Paint the Park Pink." The 'Dads players will debut special pink game jerseys that they will wear throughout the weekend, and any fan who wears pink to the ballpark will receive a $5 ticket to the game.
Saturday will feature replica pink Crawdads uniforms for the first 1,000 fans with paid admittance, courtesy of Pepsi.
The weekend promotion will wrap up with a big day on Sunday. In honor of Mother's Day, all moms in attendance will receive a free carnation at the front gate. The Crawdads will also finish the auction of their game-worn, pink jerseys, with a live silent auction at L.P. Frans Stadium. The online portion of the jersey auction is available now, with fans able to bid on the uniform of any 2014 Hickory Crawdad. The online auction will end at 12:00 pm on May 11th, with the auction concluding live at the ballpark during the game.
A portion of the proceeds from the jersey auction will go towards a local breast cancer support organization. You can find the online auction page on the Crawdads website here.
