SAC Announces 2014 Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll PDF Print

The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Tennis Team was selected by the South Atlantic Conference Head Coaches to finish 12th this season as the league announced the preseason poll today.

 

 

 

Wingate, winners of three straight conference tournament titles, was picked to repeat in 2014 after a perfect run through the league last season. The Bulldogs garnered eight first-place votes for a total of 114 points.

 

Lenoir-Rhyne is currently 2-1 on the year and returns to action on Friday, February 7, against Mount Olive at Hickory High School beginning at 1:30 p.m.

South Atlantic Conference Releases 2014 Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll

 

The Lenoir-Rhyne University Men's Tennis Team was picked 12th in the 2014 South Atlantic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, league officials announced today.

 

Wingate, with five first-place votes and 107 total points, was voted to win the league regular season championship.

 

Lenoir-Rhyne, 1-2 on the year so far, next hosts Mount Olive on Friday, February 7, at 1:30 p.m., at Hickory High School. The 2014 Food Lion SAC Men's Tennis Tournament is scheduled to take place on April 16-18 in Rock Hill, S.C., at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.
