Seven former Appalachian State University football standouts are currently on active National Football League rosters. Here is a look at how the former Mountaineers fared in Week 16 action:
Oakland Raiders eighth-year defensive end Jason Hunter made four tackles in the Raiders' 26-13 loss at San Diego.
St. Louis Rams second-year wide receiver Brian Quick caught two passes for 16 yards in the Rams' 23-13 win over Tampa Bay.
Detroit Lions rookie punter/kicker Sam Martin averaged 45 yards over six punts in the Lions' 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Giants. Three of Martin's six boots traveled 50 yards or more, including a game-long 55-yarder, and two pinned the Giants inside the 20-yard line.
Indianapolis Colts sixth-year defensive back Corey Lynch had a special-teams tackle in the Colts' 23-7 win at Kansas City.
San Francisco 49ers third-year offensive lineman Daniel Kilgore saw action along the offensive line for the 31st-consecutive regular-season game in the 49ers' 34-24 win over Atlanta on Monday Night Football.
Jacksonville Jaguars rookie defensive back Demetrius McCray was active for the 15th-straight game but did not record any stats in the Jaguars' 20-16 loss to Tennessee.
New Orleans Saints second-year running back Travaris Cadet missed practice time due to a non-injury-related reason and was inactive for the Saints' 17-13 loss at Carolina.
In all, 10 former Mountaineers are currently on NFL rosters. In addition to the six members of active 53-man rosters, second-year defensive back DeAndre Presley is a member of the Carolina Panthers' practice squad, rookie running back Steven Miller is on the Detroit Lions' practice squad and rookie linebacker Jeremy Kimbrough was placed on the Washington Redskins' injured-reserved list after sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury during a preseason game.
