Indians Win Fourth Straight PDF Print

The St. Stephens High boy's basketball team knocked off Maiden 57-38 Friday night in a non-conference game in St. Stephens, N.C.

 

 

 

The Indians (6-2) won their fourth straight game in the process. Saint broke away from a 14-14 first-quarter tie thanks to a 17-point explosion in the second period. The Indians led 31-22 at halftime and broke the game open in the third quarter as they outscored Maiden, 16-6, for a commanding 47-38 lead.

 

Caron Corpening led the Saint with 11 points; Marcus Conner had ten points; Christian Beasley poured in nine. Anthony Miller paced Maiden with 16 points in the loss.

 

St. Stephens (4-4) defeated Maiden 53-51 in the girl's game.
