Speir Saves Smokey Mountain PDF Print

Quarterback Zeb Speir, the son of Western Carolina coach Mark Speir, capped off a huge effort with a seven-yard run with less than a minute to platy as Smokey Mountain defeated Pisgah 27-24 Friday night.

Speir also threw three touchdown passes, including two to Zechariah Carter, who finished the night with seven receptions for 210 yards. Speir was 15-26 for 269 yards.
