Stephen Curry is taking full advantage of the NBA lockout this summer.

curry, who left Davidson College after his junior year, has enrolled as a full-time student at Davidson to complete his degree. He's is taking three classes this fall (he also took online classes this summer). And the newly married rising star (he married his high school sweetheart), is fulfilling a promise to his parents.
Curry, who was taken in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors in 2009 (the seventh pick overall), promised his parents he would complete his college degree. And following the fall semester, Curry will be just three credits shy of keeping that promise.
Curry, who still lives in Charlotte during the off-season, is about to begin his third year with the Warriors, that's if the NBA lockout ever ends. He was a runner-up for Rookie of the Year honors in 2009-10, and he second on the team in scoring last season for a team that only won 36 games and missed the playoffs. He averaged 18.6 points-per-games in 74 games; he shot 48% from the floor, 44% from the three-point line and 93% from the free-throw line.
But Curry is best remembered for his heroic effort in 2008, when he guided the Wildcats to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament during his sophomore year. He was a college All-America, and he is Davidson's all-time leading scorer with 2,488 points. He was the NBA's Skills Challenge Competition champion  last season and also received the NBA's Sportsmanship Award in 2011. He was a first-team selection on the NBA's All-Rooke squad in 2010.
