FCS Title Game Date Set PDF Print

The NCAA Division I Football Championship Committee has announced that the FCS Championship game will be played on Saturday, January 7 at 1 pm.


The game will be played at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX., and it will be televised live on ESPN2. The FCS title game moved from Chattanooga, which hosted the event from 1997-2009, to Frisco last season. Eastern Washington won the national title by knocking off Delaware, 20-19.
Huntington, WV (1992-96), Statesboro, GA. (1989-91), Pocatello, ID. (1987-88), Tacoma, WA. (1985-86), Charleston, SC (1983-84), Wichita Falls, TX (1978, 1981-82), Sacramento, CA (1980) and Orlando, FL (1979) are among the other cities that have hosted the (Division I-AA) FCS championship game since the series began in 1978.
