Pet Food Recall Affects Dogs And Cats PDF Print

A recent rash of food recalls has now reached pets. Menu Foods, a private label supplier of pet foods for over 40 dog and cat food brands, has issued a precautionary recall on dog and cat food manufactured between December third, 2006th and March 6th, 2007th. Over the past several days they’ve received information causing them to question the safety of their ‘cuts and gravy’ style pet food that comes in cans and pouches. The food is sold under as many as 40 different brand names from Best Choice and Eukanuba to Mighty Dog and Nutro Natural Choice. The best way to determine if your dog or cat’s food is safe is to check the list posted on the company’s website at
