Tuesday June 21 is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and the King Street Farmers Market is celebrating with special activities at the market.

In addition to the great selection of local produce and products, the Solstice celebration include a suncatcher kid’s activity, face painting, and henna tattoos.

Local musician Lowell Cooke will be performing, as well as a cooking demonstration from Margie Mansure.

Food Hub producer and chef, Ross Agliloro of eightpointfive, will be hosting a Bahn Mi pop-up, plus Rascal Jack’s food truck, and lots of options for dinner at the market.
