As of Tuesday this week, AppHealthCare reports 89 active COVID-19 cases in Watauga, and 66 individuals who have been directed to quarantine.

In Ashe, there are 62 active cases, and 155 have been directed to quarantine.

As of Tuesday, there have been 35 deaths in Watauga, and 54 in Ashe. Watauga County Schools will hold another vaccine clinic for students and parents on September 17 from 2 to 6 pm.

 

The Toe River Health District reported Monday there were 102 active cases in Avery County, and of those, only 17 individuals were fully vaccinated. NCDHHS reports here have been 26 deaths in Avery.
