The latest case numbers show that Ashe County has 50 active COVID-19 cases, 101 individuals in quarantine, as of Monday September 13.

The Ashe Post and Times reports 41 students tested positive along with five staff in the Ashe County School system.

According to the report, AppHealthCare said there are currently no active cases in the Ashe High School football team outbreak.

As of the latest weekly update, 50% of Ashe citizens have had at least one shot. The goal, across the three counties served by AppHealthCare, is to reach 70%.
