“Horn in the West” outdoor drama will conclude its 69th season on August 7, playing nightly except Mondays, and for the last couple of weeks, there is a special Friends and Neighbors ticket price for area residents.

The special price allows area residents to see the historic outdoor drama for just $12 per ticket on Wednesday July 28 and Wednesday August 4.

Discounted Friends and Neighbor tickets can be purchased by showing a local Driver’s License or a bill with a local address.

“Horn in the West” tells the story of Daniel Boone, the Revolutionary War, and the pioneer settlement of the High Country.

It is produced by Southern Appalachian Historical Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving history for the future. SAHA also operates the Hickory Ridge History Museum.
