The King Street Market is excited to announce Día Latino on July 13th!

The King Street Market invites our entire Latino community to the Tuesday farmers’ market to celebrate Latino culture this upcoming Tuesday, July 13th! The event will start off with a special dance from local group Las Rosas y El Clavel and host special artist Escobar Rustic Crafts.

This event is a collaboration between Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture, Q’Pasa Appalachia, and the Immigrant Justice Coalition, who will also be there. The event is funded by AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, the Immigrant Justice Coalition, and the Watauga Food Council.

Come on out from 4-7pm at 126 Poplar Grove Connector, Boone, NC to talk with Latino community organizations, find featured recipes, watch dancers perform, and more.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate and connect with our Latino community, and enjoy the market together.
