The Johnson County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested a Butler man and charged him with first degree murder.

The Mountain City Tomahawk reports that David Lee Albright was charged in connection with the disappearance of 67 year old Allen Boy McGee.

A missing person report was filed for McGee on August 7.

Investigators searched McGee's residence and and property and determined that Albright was responsible for McGee's disappearance.

Albright was arrested Friday evening and charged with first degree murder, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and additional charges, and is being held at the Johnson County Jail on a $192,000 bond with an August 19 court date.

According to the report, the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office and Boone Police Department assisted in the investigation. As of August 15, McGee's body had not been found.
