With the fall semester beginning soon, AppalCART has instigated a number of steps to insure the health and safety of passengers.

High Country Press reports these steps include:

Hand sanitizing pumps on all buses and throughout AppalCART facilities.
All drivers will wear face coverings and all employees will be screened each day.
All passengers must wear face coverings, cleaning buses multiple times each day, and sanitizing buses weekly with a fogging agent
Seats will be clearly marked to ensure social distancing.
Windows and emergency hatches will be left open to promote circulation of air.
There will be barriers to separate drivers and passengers on all buses.
AppalCART previously announced the elimination of some bus stops to reduce delays.
