The Blue Ridge Parkway will reopen several areas to the public.
Beginning July 31, the Julian Price Park and the Linville Falls campground will once again be open.
The Peaks of Otter and Rocky Knob campgrounds in Virginia will also reopen on July 31.
Reservations can be made by visiting Recreation.gov.
A number of areas, however, remain closed, including Dougton Park, Crabtree Falls, and Mt. Pisgah campgrounds.
Select concession operations are open, picnic areas, as well as all trials.
The entire Parkway motorway is open except for a section in Virginia from mileposts 115 to 135.
While these areas are accessible to visitors, services may be limited.
