Watauga County Schools will be transitioning to summer meal distribution soon.

The Watauga Democrat reports Watauga Schools will begin a Monday through Thursday meal program starting June 1. The program will continue to offer meal pick up at the current locations, with breakfast and lunch available at five locations, and dinner at two locations.

Beginning June 15, Watauga County Schools will reduce kitchen operations, and curb side service will be available at only five locations, while bus deliveries will continue. According to the report, school officials hope to continue the meal program through the end of July.
