Tristan Noah Borlase, charged with two counts of murder in the April 10th death of Jeffery David Borlase and Tanya Maye Borlase, appeared in Watauga Superior Court Tuesday.

The Watauga Democrat reports that officials are still waiting for information in the case before proceeding further.

According to the report, while all discovery documents have been turned over, there were still items the DA's office has yet to receive, and the case has been continued.

On April 10th, Watauga Sheriff's Department personnel found the Borlase couple dead outside their Orchard Road home in Deep Gap. Tristen Borlase was later detained after a traffic stop in Johnson County Tennessee.

Borlase remains in the Watauga County Detention Center on a 5 million dollar bond.
