The US House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday that will make it easier to identify and block robocalls.

H.R. 3375, the Stopping Bad Robocalls Act, would implement a nationwide caller authentication system that would identify robocallers and provide the option to block robocalls, and make it possible to trust that the number people see on their caller-ID is actually the person calling them, all at no cost to consumers.

Fifth District Congresswoman Virginia Foxx voted in favor of the bill, saying it provides the teeth needed to finally get unwanted robocalls off our phones and crack down on those behind them.
