The Stephenson Center for Appalachia at Lees-McRae College will kick off its summer programming on Wednesday, June 12th.

The center will host everything from musicians and area nonprofit leaders, to writers and photographers.

The kick off on June 12th will feature area musician Floyd Townsend and musicians from the Avery JAM program, who will perform a concert of mountain music.

All events are free and will begin at 7 p.m. in the Dotti M. Shelton Learning Commons.
