Appalachian Regional Healthcare System is working to develop a retirement facility at Chestnut Ridge in Blowing Rock.

The Watauga Democrat reports ARHS is partnering on the project with Wilmington-based organization Liberty Senior Living.

ARHS has been working to develop a senior living campus for nearly a decade, and found Liberty Senior Living as a perfect fit.
