A missing 14-year-old girl from Ashe County was found on April 16th.

Rose Miller of Warrensville was reported missing by her parents the night before.

According to the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation led deputies and detectives to believe that Miller had left with an older man. Authorities then located Miller with the older man in Cleveland, Tennessee. The Sheriff’s Office stated she was found safe and secure.

The man is currently in custody as the Sheriff’s Office gathers more information and conducts a criminal investigation.

The man’s identity is not being released at this time, but the Sheriff’s Office said that if charges are filed, this may become a federal case due to crossing state lines.
