Appalachian Mountain Brewery is introducing the new "828 Lager" to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.

The Watauga Democrat reports the beer will be released this Friday, March 15th, at River Street Ale House in Boone and the Town Tavern in Blowing Rock.

According to the report, 10 percent of sales from the beer will go back to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A special release party will take place at the River Street Ale House at 6 p.m. on Friday. Members of the Alzheimer’s Association will be in attendance with prizes and a silent auction to help raise money.
