The Caldwell Community College Watauga Campus plans to open its Student Services Center this summer.

The Watauga Democrat reports construction is halfway complete, and the projected opening date is August 15th.

According to the report the $5.3 million project is funded by the state as part of the Connect N.C. Bond from 2016.

The center will be 15,000 square feet and house the college’s welcome center, student services operations, library, bookstore, testing center, business office, Student Government Association, academic support center and writing center.

It will also have a student lounge and commons area.
