A man from Lansing was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine.

The Ashe Post and Times reports 41-year-old Timothy Hartzog was charged with 15 felonies for the possession of 28 grams of meth.

According to the report, the arrest came after a four-month investigation by the Ashe County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

Hartzog is being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond.
