Hudson Police have identified a body found on Wednesday.

The Watauga Democrat reports police were called Wednesday morning to South Main Street in reference to a body located in Little Gunpowder Creek.

Hudson Police Department Chief Anthony E. Day said officers found a deceased white male in the creek.

The man was identified as 32 year old Bobby Scott Taylor, who had been missing since February 19th and had connections to both Watauga County and Johnson County, Tennessee.

According to the report, Hudson Police Detective Richard Blevins said the investigation is still ongoing and the North Carolina SBI is assisting. No other details are available.
