The Ashe County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of two men.

The Ashe Post and Times reports Randy Edward Jones, 46, of Whitetop, Va., and Gary Fred Burns, 61, of Lansing were arrested after a traffic stop in the Lansing area on Monday.

Deputies seized approximately 78 grams of crystal methamphetamine, estimated to have a street value of $9,500, 12 quarts of non-tax paid liquor and $1,034.

Both men were charged with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine and one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver.

Jones was also charged with possession of non-tax paid liquor and was given a $76,500 bond.

Burns was charged with possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was given a $76,000 bond.
