Snow, strong winds, and cold wind chills expected in the High Country again tonight.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6pm tonight until 9am Friday morning.

Low pressure over the Great Lakes will push a strong cold front through the region this evening.

Rain ahead of the front this afternoon will change to snow tonight.

Winds will gust out of the northwest behind the front bringing in much colder air and lower wind chills.

Total snow accumulations of up to two inches are expected, with locally higher amounts.

Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph late tonight will produce areas of blowing snow and wind chills of 5 above to 5 below zero.

Plan on slippery road conditions and be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

In addition, there is more snow in the forecast this weekend. As of now, the forecast calls for a chance of snow beginning Saturday night, and during the day Sunday, snow changing to rain.
