Two more individuals have been arrested in the kidnapping case of a Burke County man.

On January 25th the Watauga Country Sheriff's Department arrested Michael Stacey James May, age 39, of 887 Slabtown Road, Zionville. On January 26th, the Watauga Sheriff's Department arrested James Parker Combs, 30, of 1151 Slabtown Road, Zionville.

Both men were arrested on Fugitive from Justice Warrants from Tennessee. Combs and May are charged by Tennessee officials with with Conspiracy to Commit Especially Aggravated Kidnapping and both were given a $250,000.00 bond and their return to Tennessee is pending.

Previously, Robert Leroy Littleton III, 31, of 949 Railroad Grade Road, Fleetwood, and Leigh Katherine Mina, 30, of 338 Brook Hollow Road, Boone, were arrested and charged with first-degree felony kidnapping of Carlton Lamaar Edmondson of Burke County.

Edmondson has been missing from the Valdese area of Burke County since January 19th and officials believe he was abandoned somewhere in Tennessee.
