Less than an hour earlier, a Meadow Hill Drive man was injured in a Sugar Grove crash.  Trooper Goldsmith said the 3:15pm wreck involved the ’86 Chevy that Austin Potter was driving, the 30-year old running off of the highway to his right, traveling some 200 feet in the ditch line before striking a rock embankment.  Goldsmith said that Potter suffered rib injuries and was transported by Watauga Medics to Watauga Medical Center, where he was treated and where the trooper cited him with Failure to Maintain Lane Control and Too Fast for Existing Conditions.
