A Wilkesboro man managed to do some $20,000 damage to his home, some $8000 damage to his car and another $1000 to another car after a crash sequence in the early morning hours Sunday. Wilkesboro Police report that Talon Jerome Brown was backing out of his drive, and apparently did not see another vehicle in the drive behind him. After backing into Samantha Kovaleski’s ’96 Isuzu in the drive, Brown put the 2007 Chevrolet into drive, and managed to drive the car completely through the bedroom of his 1424 Gilreath Street home. The car, according to police, ended up on the porch of the home. Police estimated the nearly $30,000 to the cars and house, but did not list charges in the 1am crash—and listed no injuries.
