It has been missing for 16 months, as of yesterday, the Escher Lithograph stolen on December 23, 2012, and now the reward for finding that was has been increased tenfold, from $2,000 to $20,000. The $20,000 reward is being offered by the victim for the return of the Escher Lithograph with the print Serial Number 53/108. The theft occurred in the Jefferson/Laurel Springs area, but few other details have been released about the theft. The Escher Lithograph is matted in a silver frame, entitled "Ascending and Descending". Anyone with additional information about this investigation is asked to call the Ashe County Sheriffs Office at (336) 846-5633 or Ashe County Crime Stoppers at (336) 846-4188. Crime Stoppers pays cash for information leading to the arrest of individuals connected to certain crimes.
