Tennessee authorities are investigating the discovery of a vehicle in the waters of Watauga Lake, at least one person dead inside.  WJHL TV is reporting that the discovery of the car came last night  in Johnson County, and they say that the Tennessee Highway Patrol is the investigating agency. The station reports that at about 9:20 p.m., Tennessee Highway Patrol Spokesman Sgt. Bill Miller confirmed a car was located in the rural lake and that at least one person was found dead in the vehicle, but that
Miller did not release specifics about where the car was found, when, or how many people were found dead. Miller said "No names are being released and no preliminary information is available until we make family notification and the coroner's office has completed the autopsy."
