Deputies with the Carter County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee are calling it the biggest to date after a meth “super lab” was discovered at a residence in Roan Mountain earlier this week. The find comes after a two-week investigation involving much surveillance of the residence located at 8377 Hwy 19-E in Roan Mountain. According to Sheriff Chris Mathes, about 50 one-pot meth bottles were found inside the residence, along with 6 to 8 gallons of human waste. Sheriff’s deputies placed Timothy Blackwell of Roan Mountain under arrest. Authorities say that Blackwell did not own the residence and that the owner stated that he was unaware of anyone staying at the residence. Investigators are calling the find the largest meth lab the county has ever seen.
