There’s been a fatal fire this morning in Burke County, with crews searching through the rubble in their investigation. Burke Emergency Operations Center received the fire call at about midnight, the call at a residence on Clark Loop Road in the Brendletown Community. The blaze was battled by Brendletown, Salem, and West End firemen, who were on the scene through the night as investigators arrived from the Burke Sheriff’s Office, SBI, and other Burke agencies.  Dave Faherty from WSOC-TV has been on the scene and has sent photos, posted on GoBlueRidge.net.  More on the fire as details come from the investigation.
