247Sports.com is reporting that All-State small forward Donovan Gregory has made a very commitment to play basketball at Appalachian State University in 2019-20.

Gregory, 6-ffot-5 from state champion Carmel Christian Academy in Matthews, N.c., was an NCISAA first-team All-State selection for the second year in a row as a junior. He averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists a game. He passed the 1,000 point career scoring mark on December 2 of last year.

Gregory, who joins point guard J.C. Tharrington from Charlotte, are the first two commits for App State in 2019. Gregory returned from a Las Vegas AAU event and committed to the Mountaineers on August 2.
