Stephen Glenn “Steve” Galyen, age 73 of 154 Crab Creek Road, Ennice, N.C. passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1947 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Woodrow and Ina Jean Spurlin Galyen. Steve loved fishing, hunting, and motorcycle riding. He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved to work in his shop. He is survived by his wife, Lois Galyen of the home; one son, Derrick Galyen of Ennice; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and John Viars of Austinville, VA; four grandchildren, Connor Viars, Cody Viars, Emma Viars, and Solomon Viars; two brothers, Ronnie Galyen and wife Debbie of Ennice, Phil Galyen of Ennice; his extended family in Maryland; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Steve at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Phil Galyen officiating. Interment will follow in Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Due to the current COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve.
