Lees-McRae Summer Theatre has announced two shows for the 2021 season.

First up, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be presented June 19-27, followed by America's Artist: The Norman Rockwell Story, set for July 27-August 1.

Lees-McRae Summer Theatre has worked closely with the school’s administration as well as local health experts, and will follow protocols from the CDC and best practices established by national theatre organizations.

This year, audience sizes will be reduced to allow for social distancing and fewer people in a single space.

In accordance with North Carolina state mandates, all audience members are required to wear a mask and receive a temperature check before entering the theatre.

Additionally, the theatre will be thoroughly cleaned between performances.
