All votes cast for the midterm elections are in.

In the state races, for North Carolina House District 93, Democrat Ray Russell won over Republican Jonathan Jordan by a close margin of about 1,500 votes. Russell’s win marks the first time since 2010 that District 93 has elected a representative other than Jordan.

For North Carolina State Senate District 45, Republican Deanna Ballard won over Democrat Wes Luther by a wide margin, with more than 65 percent of votes.

For the U.S. House of Representatives Fifth District of North Carolina, Republican Virginia Foxx won over Democrat D.D. Adams with about 57 percent of votes.

All races are unofficial until the Board of Elections holds its Canvass Day next week.
