Tickets are now on sale for the 63rd Annual Farm City Banquet.

The event starts at 6 p.m. on November 1st at Boone United Methodist Church.

This year’s theme is “High Country Grown,” and will celebrate the homegrown success of Watauga County’s farms as well as the community and town folk that support them.

There will be live entertainment, dinner supplied by local farmers, door prizes and an awards ceremony for those in the local farming, civic and business community who have made significant contributions to the agricultural economy.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and children 5 years old and younger eat for free.

Tickets can be purchased at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Office in downtown Boone. No tickets will be sold at the door.
