Lenoir Police have arrested two people after an altercation last Wednesday.

Lenoir Police Chief R. Scott Brown says on June 6th, police received a call about an altercation in the parking lot of 313 Greenhaven Drive, in Lenoir that claimed a number of individuals involved were armed with baseball bats and guns.

Officers arrived to find the victim, Lyric Vashawn Parsons of Lenoir, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Caldwell United Health Care for non-life threatening injuries.

Chief Brown said individuals involved in the incident were known to each other and the altercation stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the two parties involved.

Marcus Oneal Michaux of Beal Street Lenoir was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and police are searching for him.

Tammie Marie Michaux of Beal Street was charged with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun and 2 counts of resist, delay and obstruct and was arrested and placed in the Caldwell Detention Center under a $5000 secured bond.
